Volunteer Opportunities
The Iosco County Medical Care Facility is an on-going project that involves planting and maintaining wheel-chair height flower boxes and other areas surrounding the county facility. Coordinator: Mary Gartland Next Work Date: TBD
The Iosco Community Gardens is a project that involves helping local community members start, maintain and grow their own vegetables. Coordinator: Kathleen Squires Next Work Date: TBD

Volunteers needed to help design and install heritage garden. Contact: Jean Thomas Next Meeting: Planting Date--TBD (late May/early June) Plants are needed to provide for 1850-1950 Heirloom theme. Plants requested include: Black Eyed Susan (2 requested) Purple Coneflower (2 requested) 1- 18-24" Tall Perennial (i.e. Lupine, Rhubarb, Zinnia, Horseradish) 1- Rose of Sharon or Rosa Rugosa
